Dover has two cruise terminals, both in the Western Docks (CT17 9DQ):
Cruise Terminal 1 (CT1): The historic one. Built in 1914 as Dover Marine railway station, it keeps its original station architecture and handles smaller and medium-sized ships. Saga Cruises sail from here regularly, including Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure.
Cruise Terminal 2 (CT2): Purpose-built in 2000 for the largest cruise ships, with a first-floor departure lounge overlooking the harbour, the White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Holland America's Nieuw Statendam, Viking's ocean ships, Carnival, Celebrity Eclipse and Princess ships use CT2.

Heathrow to Dover cruise port: Flying in for a sailing? We meet you at Heathrow arrivals and drive straight to the terminal, timed for check-in.
Flying in before your sailing? We run airport transfers from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted, and can book the whole journey from your flight to the ship as one trip.
Dover sailings run to firm check-in closing times. Share your sailing details when you book and we schedule the pickup so you arrive with time to spare, not just on time. The drive from London is around two hours in normal traffic, but we build in margin for the M25 and the approach into Dover.
On return sailings, your driver waits at the terminal as passengers come through. Dover's terminals clear efficiently, but we allow generous waiting time so you are met when you walk out, not rushed.
Embarkation: The driver drops you at your cruise terminal entrance and helps with your luggage to the drop-off point. For CT1, that is the historic station building; for CT2, the modern terminal on Admiralty Pier.
Disembarkation: Meet and greet at the terminal. Your driver waits with a name board, helps with your bags, and walks you to the car. No searching the car park, no phone tag.
Cruise trips mean heavy cases, and Dover sailings are often two weeks or more. A saloon suits two to three large cases plus hand luggage. Book an estate or MPV for a family with extra hold needs, and the 8-seater minibus for groups of up to eight with full luggage. Child seats are available on request.
