Stansted sits just off the M11 at Junction 8, and most of our work runs along that motorway. London is the big one: 30 miles down the M11 to the North Circular and into the capital. The route to Paddington crosses London, typically via the North Circular and the A40.
From the north and west, Stevenage approaches via the A1(M) and A120, a run of about 28 miles. Watford comes across from the west via the M25 and M11. Aylesbury is the long cross-country run, over 60 miles via the A41, M25 and M11. Cambridge is the natural northern destination, a straight shot up the M11.
We know the M11's pinch points, the roadworks that appear without warning, and the back routes through Bishop's Stortford and Harlow when the motorway is closed.
