Birmingham Airport sits off the M42 at Junction 6, serving Britain's second city, Solihull, Coventry, the NEC and a wide Midlands catchment. It is a single-terminal airport with the Air-Rail Link connecting to Birmingham International station, and a schedule that mixes European city breaks, long-haul connections and the constant flow of business travel. A Birmingham airport taxi from Royal Britain covers it all: meet and greet in the arrivals hall, drop-off at the departures entrance, and a fixed price agreed before you travel.
We run Birmingham transfers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including the long-distance routes to London and the South East that define much of our Birmingham work. Tell us your flight details when you book, and your driver confirms the meeting point before pickup. Get an instant quote online, call 020 3925 0757, or message us on WhatsApp.
Birmingham is a single-terminal airport, which simplifies pickups: one arrivals hall, one set of drop-off points. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board and helps with luggage. For departures, drop-offs are at the departures entrance on the upper level.
The Air-Rail Link. The free monorail connects the terminal to Birmingham International railway station in about two minutes. Useful for rail connections, but a taxi remains the faster option for Solihull, Coventry, central Birmingham and anywhere the train does not go directly.
Flight tracking. Give us your flight number and we monitor it. If your inbound flight is delayed, your driver adjusts at no extra charge.
The NEC factor. During major exhibitions at the NEC, the whole area around the airport and Junction 6 gets busy. We build in the buffer when you tell us you are travelling for an event.
Fares below are "from" prices based on a saloon car. Your exact fare is fixed and confirmed when you book: no surge pricing, no meter.
| Route | Distance | From price |
|---|---|---|
| Coventry to Birmingham Airport | 11.8 miles | From Β£51 |
| Birmingham to Coventry | 21.7 miles | From Β£65 |
| Northampton to Birmingham Airport | 51.1 miles | From Β£145 |
| Heathrow Airport to City Centre, Birmingham | 118.0 miles | From Β£203 |
| Birmingham to Peterborough | 86.5 miles | From Β£156 |
| Birmingham Airport to City Centre | n/a | From Β£45 |
The Coventry run is the classic short hop, under 12 miles via the A45. Northampton comes down the M1 and across, about 50 miles. The Heathrow to Birmingham run is the long-distance flagship: 118 miles via the M40 and M42, popular for connections and for Londoners heading to the Midlands. For an exact fare on your route, use the online quote form or contact us.
Most Birmingham work falls into two patterns. Local runs: Solihull, Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, and the business parks around the M42. These are short, frequent, and time-sensitive, especially for the 6am departures.
Then there are the long-distance routes. Birmingham to Heathrow is one we do constantly: M42 to the M40, down through Oxford and Beaconsfield, into the airport via the M25 or the M4 spur. Around two hours outside peak, longer on a Friday afternoon. Birmingham to central London runs the same corridor. These are the journeys where a fixed price matters most: on a meter, a bad M40 day is expensive.
We also run Birmingham to Manchester, Birmingham to Bristol, and cross-country routes that the trains serve poorly. Tell us the journey; we will quote it fixed.
Fixed price, including the long runs. Birmingham to Heathrow at a metered rate is a gamble. Our fare is agreed before you travel and never changes.
Meet and greet at arrivals. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, not in a car park.
Private cars only. No shared rides, no surge pricing. The car is yours from pickup to drop-off.
A vehicle for every party. Saloon, estate, MPV, 8-seater minibus, and executive E-Class and S-Class cars. Child seats on request. The 8-seater is popular for NEC events and group travel.
24/7, including the early wave. First departures around 6am mean 3.30am pickups. We are on the road.
